This is an exploration of the modern pin-up. I fell into it really. At some point last year I began a series of photographs that centered on various household textures. Fairly quickly this drifted into being the crazy colored, grease splattered, food opus I call foodiepo. There is a creative freedom in being silly and humorous, and in the end what is more silly than trying to be sexy while playing with your food.

This book contains nudity and is not suitable for all ages.

Eric Paul Owens is a Photographer, Painter, and Graphic Artist living and working in Columbus, Ohio. His work covers a diverse scope of interests from pop to surrealism. Eric has a BFA from Ohio State University and has worked professionally in commercial graphics for more than a decade.
